Chemistry - Intermolecular Forces and Bonding
Chemistry - Intermolecular Forces and BondingChemists know about intermolecular forces and how they help create chemical reactions. The latest advances in this field have been marked by progress in energy research. The collaboration between chemists and energy researchers has provided new insights into the nature of these forces and their effect on chemical reactions. A series of important papers on the topic were published in the period from 2020 to 2020.For chemists, intermolecular forces are the basic building blocks of chemical reaction. The reaction cycle usually starts with a carbon atom being attached to an atom of oxygen. In other words, the two molecules create a new compound. This is how reactions take place. The different reactions proceed in such a way that they all end up in the same compound, which is often of the same type.In chemistry, intermolecular forces are responsible for that specific nature of reactions. As we are beginning to understand, scientists cannot easi ly recognize how a reaction occurs unless they try to manipulate the reaction and control its mechanism.New relationship between researchers is now emerging in the field of chemistry. Intermolecular forces have been discovered as fundamental components of chemical reactions and as the basis of bonding. Many changes have taken place in the field of chemistry as scientists have tried to understand the relationship between intermolecular forces and bonding in particular.Bonding is a process whereby two atoms form a bond. In order to create the bond, two molecules with an opposite charge have to be coupled together. The electron spins of these two molecules are made to interact by the presence of a third molecule that holds a neutral charge. All chemical bonds are based on similar types of atoms, which are similar in the first place. The simplest types of bond that links chemical bonds are ionic bonds, which are formed when an ion is paired with a positive or negative charge, while bondi ng is created between opposing charges of atoms. Here, scientists look at the properties of intermolecular forces and discover that the creation of bonds is not always a simple process.Scientists are now studying intermolecular forces in much greater detail than ever before. These new researches can help to pave the way for future discoveries in the field of chemistry.

Free Online College Lectures
Free Online College Lectures This post is being written while listening to Professor Jim Newtons Communication Studies 187: Journalistic Ethics from the University of California Los Angeles for free. The lecture is an hour-long video clip from YouTube. The U.S. News and World Report states that many college professors are uploading their lectures to online sites, extending higher education past students and teachers to all people. Their lectures are publicly available to anyone interested. This trend started in 2001 with the University of California Berkleys launch of webcast.berkley.edu and Massachusetts Institute of Technologys launch of OpenCourseWare. These programs host recorded videos of professors lectures, class notes, syllabi and other useful information. Since 2001, the programs have grown with sites like YouTube EDU, iTunes U, Academic Earth and Open Culture. These programs are creating many new learning opportunities for anyone interested in higher education. Also, students can watch the class lectures as many times as they would like. Professor Newtons Journalistic Ethics lecture is absolutely captivating, edge-of-your-seat, dont-want-to-blink, hope-it-never stops type of captivating. As unlikely and irrational as it may seem, there is the slightest chance that one could doze off and not pay attention to his entire lecture. This student even though one probably does not exist could go back to the class lecture on one of the aforementioned Web sites and watch the class lecture again. Therefore, that student will not be at a disadvantage for the test. Also, if there is a section of the lecture that a student did not quite understand, he/she can watch it again. Students could use the iTunes U program to download class lectures straight to iPods or iPhones. So, instead of being caught singing Party in the USA. with iPod headphones, students can listen to class lectures while driving in their cars or walking around on campus. If people hear you talking to yourself as awkward as that could be at least they will think youre smart. Students are not the only ones to listen to online lectures. Many college professors and high school teachers will use these to improve their classes. Also, these could be great resources for high school students. Free online class lectures will give high school students great insights into what education will be like at that particular college. Online class lectures are as close to actually being in a classroom as one can get. This could even help in the college decision-making process. With online classes, anyone can seemingly take classes at some of the nations elite colleges. However, no credit or degrees will be given in these types of online classes.

Watch for These 7 Signs of Depression
Watch for These 7 Signs of Depression pexels.com 1. Changes in sleep If youâre sleeping more or youâre sleeping less often, this is a sign of depression. Monitor these changes and, if they persist, tell someone about them. According to Dr. Holly A. Swartz, professor of psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, âsleep makes people function well, so the real problem is that for a depressed person, sleep isnât restorative, and they arenât refreshed or rejuvenated.â According to Dr. Joseph Calabrese, professor of psychiatry, individuals might also experience âpsychomotor agitation,â which is essentially restlessness. 2. Your mind seems muddled If youâre having a hard time sticking to one thing, if your mind feels jumbled and you constantly have too many thoughts going through your mind and tend to be a little more forgetful than usual, this is another sign to watch out for. According to Dr. John Zajecka, professor of psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center, âOne of the things people really need to be mindful of is how well they are functioning cognitively. Sometimes people canât sit down for 30 minutes and watch TV or read or do anything that requires some focus.â Also be on the lookout for slow thinking, forgetfulness, decision-making problems and other signs of inattentiveness. 3. Youâre worrying/thinking too much In case you didnât know, there is actually a word for over-thinking: ârumination.â Rumination is bad for depression, as it can make it last longer or even increase an individualâs chance of becoming depressed. According to Zajecka, âWith rumination, people basically get caught in a loop of replaying negative situations or looking at neutral situations in a negative way or over-analyzing things.â He continued in saying âA little self-reflection is good, but with rumination, someone can become very self-absorbed and they talk about the same things over and over again, which becomes tough on the people around them.â So this is essentially turning individualsâ friends and family against them, which will, in turn, make them more depressed, making it very dangerous. 4. Weight changes If youâre losing or gaining a lot of weight, this is a sign as well. Depression can cause individuals to either eat more or to eat less, which results in drastic weight changes. According to Calabrese, âMost people enjoy a good meal, and those who are depressed lose energy and interest, even in eating.â 5. Youâre not engaged or expressive If you or someone you know is changing socially, meaning they were previously engaged and now arenât any longer, theyâre likely depressed. This is one of the big ones, as itâs very common with depressed individuals. And if they arenât necessarily pulling back completely, pay attention to their attitude when theyâre with others if they appear uninterested or have a flat look all the time, this is a sign as well and should be monitored. 6. You hurt a lot Depression, though a mental condition, can influence your body and create pain in the form of back aches, headaches, digestive issues, etc. According to Zajecka, âThe pain is very real and some people may only see their doctors for vague physical pains and never get a diagnosis of depression when thatâs the real problem.â The science behind this is interesting pain and depression actually share similar brain chemicals which travel nerve pathways so if youâre depressed, this can change your brainâs sensitivity to pain at those nerve endings. 7. It can be treated Just because you or a friend is displaying symptoms of depression does not mean itâs the end of the world; depression is very treatable. The problem is that it first needs to be diagnosed. According to Zajecka, âDepression is very common and there is good help. A person doesnât need to suffer. They really arenât alone.â So keep these symptoms in mind and be more aware of your surroundings. Itâs time to change the statistics surrounding depression, and that change starts with you.

Same! So when I looked into ways to make money while traveling, I found that teaching English online is a great option. Since all you need to teach online is a laptop and an internet connection, itâs not just something you can do from home, but from anywhere in the world! While teaching English abroad is an awesome way to have a life-changing adventure living in a foreign country, teaching online gives you the freedom to teach English language learners without being tied down to one place. As an online English teacher, you can earn around $14â"$25 USD an hour working for companies like GoGoKid. Thatâs more than enough to give you the financial freedom to hop from place to place without having to stress about draining your bank account. Plus, youâll get to build a flexible teaching schedule around your travel plans, so you can leave yourself enough time to enjoy the places you visit. Sounds pretty awesome, right? Let me fill you in on everything you need to know to get started. Here are some quick tips that Iâll expand on below. How can you start making money while traveling by teaching English online? Get a TEFL certificate to beef up your resume. Prepare all the tools youâll need to teach online. Find your dream online teaching job. Start teaching online from anywhere in the world! (But donât forget to keep your expectations in check.) Boost your resume for teaching jobs online. Already a teacher? Perfect! Itâs super easy to transition from the classroom to teaching online. New to teaching? Donât worry! If you have a bachelorâs degree, getting into teaching English as a foreign language is pretty easy. Whether youâre already a teacher or not, the first thing you should do is add a TEFL certificate to your resume (if you donât already have one). A TEFL course will help you acquire the skills needed to teach English language learners â" which can be a little trickier than youâd expect. The great news is that if you take a self-paced, online TEFL certification course, you can also get your TEFL certificate while traveling. Make sure you have all the tools youâll need to be a great online English teacher. Tech equipment The most important thing youâll need to take with you is a lightweight laptop with a webcam and microphone built in (or a headset with a microphone). And donât forget to pack your laptop charger and travel adaptors for all the countries you plan to visit. Teaching props Worried about lesson planning? Donât be! Most companies, like GoGoKid, provide their own lesson plans for you to follow. But you should also make sure to keep students engaged in your online classroom. To get started, youâll likely need some banners, flashcards or stuffed animals and puppets. If you have a knack for crafts, you can make your own, or if you donât have a creative bone, head over to Pinterest for lots of teaching prop inspo and free downloads. Props are super light and easy to travel with and should easily fit in your luggage. Online payment Getting paid is easy! Online schools normally pay teachers through PayPal or via direct deposit. Get out there and job search and do your homework. Take some time to research each company and find out which one best aligns with your teaching goals. Teaching online is super flexible and gives you the freedom to build your own work schedule. Most teachers start with at least 20â"25 hours per week, but you can always work fewer hours â" or more if youâre feeling ambitious. How much you can earn teaching English online depends entirely on your goals! To make your money last longer while you travel, itâs important to create a budget and stick to it. A great way to extend your travels is by visiting countries with a lower cost of living to make your paycheck go further. One great way to save money on the road is by booking cheap accommodations like hostels, Airbnbs or budget hotels. If you do choose to stay in hostels, itâs best that you book a private room so you have a noise-free space to host your teaching sessions. But if hostels arenât your thing, Airbnbs give you the freedom and privacy you need to enjoy the comfort of a home away from home. Make sure you read the reviews carefully and let your hosts know that you are an online teacher (if you are only renting a private room), so they know to give you privacy when you need it. Whatever option you choose, make sure there is free WiFi available â" this is KEY. Keep your expectations in line with reality. While the idea of teaching on the road is exciting and fun, there are still a few things to keep in mind as a new online teacher. Never forget that this is a real job. Itâs important to always have a strong work ethic. You are an independent contractor and your reputation matters. Plus, if you miss classes you could be penalized and it could cost you money. Be a well-prepared online teacher. Make sure you always have a strong internet connection and the right software downloaded on your laptop, so you can take your classroom everywhere you go. Be on time for classes and find a place to host your video session. Youâll want to find a private space with minimal noise and distractions so your students can hear you pronounce words, and stay on track. Try to avoid scheduling teaching sessions on relocation days because it can be hard to find a reliable WiFi connection while youâre on the move. Book your teaching sessions around your travel days. And speaking of booking teaching sessions, since the bulk of online teaching companies are based in China, the hours can be tricky. Be mindful of time zones so you can determine peak hours for teaching online. As an online teacher, you are an independent contractor/self-employed so remember to report your income and pay your taxes in your home country. Keep track of all your work-related expenses and hold onto your receipts so you can claim them later on. What counts as a work expense depends on your home country. With all that in mind, there is no reason that you shouldnât have a relatively smooth remote teaching journey. Begin your travel andteaching journey today! Feeling excited about the possibility of traveling the world while you teach? Jumpstart your online teaching career with an online TEFL certification course. Once youâre done (or if youâre already TEFL certified), you can start applying for online teaching jobs at companies like GoGoKid. Why Does Organic Chemistry Tutor Not Have Rotation?
Why Does Organic Chemistry Tutor Not Have Rotation? For someone wanting to know why does organic chemistry tutor not have rotation or an A.S.? This is a common question for people who are interested in pursuing a career in this field. You should be aware that there are three levels of education that one can pursue as a student: Pre-Math, Pre-Chemistry and A.S. or Bachelor's level. While pre-Math level students are able to begin studying by themselves without help from the teacher's this level allows for individuals to learn all their chemistry subjects up to B.S. level. On the other hand, if you wish to pursue a career in A.S. or Bachelor's level you must have a teacher who is willing to teach your course with a different teacher for each subject.Math is generally introduced as a subject that is easier to learn. A good teacher will provide adequate math tutorials so that the student will understand their math through a pre-literal approach. In case that you are having problems with thi s aspect, there are many online tutors available who offer their services free of charge so that you will be able to continue your studies.Unfortunately, math is not the only thing that needs to be understood and the A.S. or Bachelor's level cannot be mastered within the time allotted. For those who have problems with math, the best option would be to transfer your A.S. or Bachelor's level and take it again with your Math Tutor. But in this case you need to provide the math tutor with a list of all your topics so that they can check the materials thoroughly.Another question you might be wondering about is the matter of timing. If you are able to grasp a subject in early years of your life then the time you have to continue your studies will be limited while a student at theA.S. or Bachelor's level can graduate before his/her time. So, if you want to pursue a career in this field, you need to have a goal that is realistic. The easiest way to reach this goal is to teach yourself. There are plenty of books on teaching yourself including online resources that are available online that can teach you everything you need to know. And if you still lack math skills then you can ask the guidance of a Math Tutor who will guide you in the right direction. These professionals are well-versed in both math and physics, so they will provide you with knowledge that is required in order to succeed in this field.Always remember that a good Math Tutor will be able to show you the path to success. They are aware of all the things that can keep you from fulfilling your dreams and they will help you discover ways to make the most out of your life.
